Indulge in the rich flavors of this Butter Garlic Salmon. Perfectly cooked salmon fillets bathed in a luscious garlic butter sauce, a dish that’s sure to impress!
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
- Preparation: Rinse the salmon fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- Heat the Pan: In a large non-stick skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it’s shimmering. Carefully place the salmon fillets, skin-side down, in the skillet.
- Sear the Salmon: Cook the salmon for about 4-5 minutes, letting the skin get crispy and golden brown. Flip the fillets and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Remove the salmon and set aside on a plate.
- Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Allow it to melt and bubble, then add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add Lemon Juice: Pour in the lemon juice and let it simmer for another minute, allowing the flavors to meld perfectly.
- Return the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets back into the skillet. Spoon the garlic butter sauce over the top, ensuring each fillet is well-coated.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle the chopped parsley over the salmon. Garnish with lemon slices and serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.
Note: For a twist, try adding a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter sauce for a hint of spice!
